Deer Hunting 2006

David A. , Eric W., Ron M., and myself went up Moose Hunting the week of Oct 16/06 to Oct 21/06, although, I only hunted with the camera. I saw a deer but not long enough to get a picture. David also saw a deer and got a picture of it. Two weeks later we were supposed to go deer hunting, but because of a variety of reasons my heart was not in it. I understand David got one and I will finish the Pickerel River report off for this year when I hear for sure what happened.

Nov 11/06
David came back today from deer hunting and not only he got one but Jeffrey W. got one too, a nice 8 point buck. Jeffrey got his buck yesterday Nov 10th, and they saw about 6 deer in all. Evidently Ron M went out for a leak at midnight and fell off the porch and hurt himself, not to bad but he can't keep on falling or he will do himself some serious harm.

The Pickerel River part of this blog is finished until mid April 2007, but instead of stopping writing I am going to start from my beginning, and how I got to Pickerel River, and the strange story and tribulations of getting there.
